Political scientist Professor Simon Jackman says the Democratic Party within the United States is heading for “big losses” forward of the midterms.
“There is a version of our near futures here where a Labor Australian government is facing, I think, a rather friendly set of faces in a Biden White House but is having to do business at the same time with a Republican-controlled House of Representatives,” Mr Jackman advised Sky News Australia.
