MANILA, Philippines—University of the Philippines recovered from a mid-second half dip to beat National University, 84-76, Tuesday and stretch its profitable streak to seven within the UAAP Season 84 males’s basketball event at Mall of Asia Arena.

From a decent 68-66 lead, Carl Tamayo and Ricci Rivero sparked a 10-point swing to take the Fighting Maroons out of hazard by mid fourth quarter en path to a repeat win over the Bulldogs for a 7-1 report. NU fell to 4-4.
NU was taking part in catch-up all morning, falling behind by 15 factors within the second quarter, 38-23.
But the Bulldogs tried to return again and tied the match on a three-pointer by Reyland Torres, 58-all with a minute left within the third interval.
