Two Native American teenagers lacking in Georgia, officers say

Two teenage members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians have been lacking since June 15 once they have been final seen in northern Georgia, officers say.

Tristin Lossie, 14, and William Ellwood, 15, have been final seen at round 6:30 a.m. native time on Wednesday, June 15, in Mitchell, a city about 120 miles southeast of Atlanta and about 50 miles west of the border with South Carolina, the Glascock Sheriff’s Office stated in an announcement.

The youngsters could also be making an attempt to journey to Cherokee, North Carolina, the place their dad and mom dwell, the Cherokee Indian Police Department stated in an announcement. They “may be together,” based on Glascock Sheriff’s Office.

Lossie is about 5-feet, 2-inches tall and was final seen carrying a black T-shirt with a Nike image, black pants and white tennis footwear. She had a teal backpack, the Glascock Sheriff’s Office says. She weighs about 130 kilos, has brown eyes and brown hair and often wears glasses.

Ellwood is about 5-feet, 7-inches talland was final seen carrying a white T-shirt, black and grey shorts, dark-colored footwear and a white baseball cap. He weighs about 110 kilos and has brown eyes and black hair, based on the sheriff’s division.

The Glascock County Sheriff’s Office and Cherokee Indian Police Department didn’t instantly reply to requests for remark by McClatchy News.
