The flashpoint comes two days after Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp was headbutted by a pitch invader after Nottingham Forest’s Championship play-off win.
Robert Biggs, a 30-year-old Forest season-ticket holder was sentenced to 24 weeks imprisonment and given a 10-year Football Banning Order after pleading responsible to assault occasioning precise bodily hurt at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
