NBA: Raptors’ Scottie Barnes uncertain for Game 2 vs 76ers with ankle damage

Toronto Raptors rookie ahead Scottie Barnes sustained a sprained left ankle in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference first-round sequence towards the Philadelphia 76ers and is listed as uncertain for Monday’s Game 2.

Forward Thaddeus Young (left thumb) and guard Gary Trent (non-COVID sickness) are also listed as uncertain.

The Raptors stated Sunday that Barnes and Young each underwent MRI exams.

“It doesn’t look good for any of them,” Toronto coach Nick Nurse stated of the trio after Sunday’s observe at Temple University. “We’ll evaluate them as we go and see where we end up.”
