Man punched in battle dies one week later, Louisiana cops say


A person who was punched making an attempt to guard a lady throughout a battle died of his accidents one week later, Louisiana police say.

An 18-year-old who was punched whereas making an attempt to guard a lady throughout a battle in a car parking zone died within the hospital one week later, Louisiana police say. And now, two males are charged in his dying.

Hayes Sellers was making an attempt to defuse an argument between a person and a lady within the car parking zone close to a nightclub in Baton Rouge at round 2 a.m. on May 8, in accordance with an affidavit from the Baton Rouge Police Department.

The man, later recognized as Jayce Lambert, turned aggressive and was “trying to fight every person that he came in contact with,” the affidavit says.

Sellers was making an attempt to guard the lady when a second man, later recognized as Edmond Revelle, received out of a automotive, approached Sellers and punched him “with a closed fist on the side of the face,” the affidavit says.

Sellers went unconscious and fell to the bottom, placing his head on the concrete. Revelle and Lambert left the scene with out making an attempt to name first responders or assist Sellers, in accordance with the affidavit.

Sellers was taken to the hospital in crucial situation with bleeding and swelling of the mind. Surgeons operated on him, however he remained unresponsive, the affidavit says.

He died on May 15 as a direct results of the accidents from the battle one week earlier, the affidavit says.

Revelle, 20, is charged with second-degree homicide, and Lambert, 20, is charged with principal to second-degree homicide, in accordance with police.
