Power. Money. Fame. Fashion. Music.
In the 2020s, there’s one name we think of when those words come up in unison: Lady Gaga. The pop-culture titan, 35, has been an unstoppable force electrifying our airwaves, strutting past our screens and using her influence to make noise for equal rights and social causes.
The “Love for Sale” singer, ready to release her next mic drop on the world with the scandalous “The House of Gucci” film on Nov. 24, is by no means taking a break from building her empire. The movie — with a star-studded cast including Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Al Pacino and Salma Hayek and directed by Ridley Scott — chronicles the Sara Gay Forden book detailing the tragic death of Maurizio Gucci, which was orchestrated by his ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani. Gaga plays the femme fatale, a character she slips into effortlessly.
Gaga’s ambition to take over the world has always been evident — but with her stars aligned, will she continue to rise or be destined to fall?
Let’s take a peek at her birth chart — because that’s just what I do!
Lady Gaga is a warrior
Let’s get down to business. Lady Gaga was born on March 28, 1986 — which makes her an Aries Sun with a Scorpio Moon.
Whoa, intense. I can feel the heat from here!
Fiery Mars plays a prominent role for her because it is the planetary ruler of Aries and the planetary co-ruler of Scorpio. That means she hungers to get to the top and be at the front — regardless of what it takes to do so. People with Aries Suns tend to strike out as leaders, ready to break into new territory and set themselves apart from the crowd. Their passion leads them where other zodiac signs would be afraid to go.
This independence makes Gaga strong, bold and courageous. Her Venus, which is tied to her sense of romance, fashion, and art, is also in blazing Aries. This amplifies her ability to be original, spontaneous and indulgent.
When we look at her natal chart, we can see that Gaga is constantly thinking: “Next, next, next, what’s next?” Most artists are thinking about the project they’re currently on, but she’s already envisioning adventures five steps ahead that she might want to tackle. The thing about Aries energy, though, is that — on its own — it likes to charge into battle but sometimes lacks follow-through.
Lucky for Gaga, though, her natal Mars is in persistent Capricorn, and there’s a beautiful alignment between her Sun and the planet of strength, Saturn, in her chart, as well. This gives her immeasurable resources of endurance to power through when it counts. This energy is equally there for her career — as well as when she is fighting for a cause that she believes in.
Lady Gaga is ‘all or nothin’ ’
I’m just gonna put it out there: Lady Gaga lives for the drama. However, she only does so when she’s the one pulling the strings! God, I love a diva.
Enter: her intense Scorpio Moon. Shivers. I’ve dated plenty of dudes with this placement and lemme just tell ya: power struggles galore and they’re moody as hell. But this great well of emotion is a place of limitless potential for them because they feel things so deeply.
Gaga uses her dark and smoldering heart to pull from when it comes to her work, and she’s also no stranger to more dramatic phases and addiction. People with a Scorpio Moon are always “all or nothing” with life. This can cause them to crave darker experiences in their relationships, hoping to go through rebirth and transformation. They may not initially think it’s “fun,” but there is a sense of joy and revelation in that pain, something that can then be harnessed and utilized for another means. With Gaga, it is always art.
Also, on further analysis of her chart, I can see that she has had to face significant self-esteem issues and insecurities. Luckily, she was always able to retain the reins in her mind and pull herself up, transforming darkness into light and pain into power.
Lady Gaga has some big years ahead of her
Buckle up, Gaga fans — things are getting exciting!
In the summer of 2022, mighty Jupiter, the planet of miracles, will enter her zodiac sign. It will again energize her in the first half of 2023. That bodes especially well for her, as she will likely launch several new projects that she wants to turn her focus toward in the decade ahead. Her income is pretty set — I mean she’s a freaking tycoon — but I do see that there will be some shifts in her income and assets between 2021 and 2023.
When it comes to relationships, I see that she’s predominantly focusing on unions of a business or collaborative nature that truly fulfill her, but I think there’s a high likelihood that she will decide to get engaged again — or, at the very least, a domestic partnership of some sort. I think that we could really see this journey gain traction by the end of 2023 — especially in 2024.
On further reviewing her birth chart, I feel like she can fall in and out of love relatively quickly once she has made the decision that it isn’t good for her. Yet, if she’s the one who is blindsided or broken up with, she could become quite possessive, obsessive and then depressed. Luckily, her chart speaks of waking up out of this pretty quickly — and, to be honest, I think the worst is behind her. The eclipses in coming years will bring her great transformations internally, which I think will help her understand her true wants, needs and desires when it comes to intimacy and partnerships.
Lady Gaga’s life path is to teach the world what is sacred
To rise as a queen of the world is no small feat. But what propelled her toward that? What in her birth chart gave her the fuel?
While there’s a lot to unpack from her chart, we don’t have a confirmed birth time, which would give us her Ascendant. (I never trust birth chart information online because all of the celebrities I’ve worked with have confirmed different times than the ones listed.) But we can see that Lady Gaga’s North Node is in Taurus. The North Node ties to one’s ultimate destiny in this lifetime, as well as what they’re trying to balance as a priority. Having a North Node in Taurus means her South Node is in Scorpio.
Bam. There it is. That is the axis of money, power and sex. However, there’s more to it than just saying she was “meant to pursue” those things.
Lady Gaga’s mission in this life is not to only balance the material and spiritual worlds, but also to teach people what is sacred in regards to the material and spiritual worlds. Anyone who is a Gaga stan (like myself) on reviewing her work knows that she shows you can have it all, sure, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But it is always important to recognize the things that aren’t tangible, too — like love, hope, friendship and community. Those things — just like money, honey, and looking fierce strutting past the boys in your newest outfit — are also cornerstones of a well-lived life.
It is in the culmination of all of those things that Gaga is teaching we can find true happiness.
