Australian bank customers have been left in the lurch this morning with one institution affected by a “delay” to deposits.
Australia’s ING customers are waking up to a frustrating delay this morning.
The bank released a short statement on Wednesday morning, revealing there was a “short delay” affecting incoming deposits.
The issue is affecting government and salary payments.
The bank said it was “working to get these funds cleared into accounts as soon as possible”.
The institution also said there was no “ETA” regarding when the problem would be fixed, but vowed to keep customers in the loop, and apologised for the issue.
“We don’t have an ETA at this stage but we will keep you updated. We’re sorry for the inconvenience,” the ING team said in a tweet.
The latest delay comes just two days after ING Australia was also hit by an “unexpected outage” with its phone service on Monday.
